Night photography is definitely about patience and timing...both of which I currently lack.
I had the slightest window after sunset last night before the moon popped out and washed out the sky outside Katoomba in Sydney.
This was my last chance to test out the Sony A7R3 before leaving for Norway next week. I had hoped to get some shots of the Milky Way but no dice - take what you're given
I also learnt that median stacks with trees is more trouble than its worth!! sticking to solid objects and mountain ranges from now on.
